Waste Management of Orange County Waste and Recycling Service Delayed by One Day

Waste Management of Orange County’s curbside residential trash and recycling and commercial pick-up schedule will be delayed by one day beginning on Wednesday, December 25, and through the remainder of the week in observance of Christmas. Service will also be delayed the following week, beginning on Wednesday, January 1, and through the remainder of the week in observance of New Year’s Day.

This means customers in the following cities who receive service on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday should place their carts out for pick-up one day later than usual during these two weeks beginning Thursday, December 26 and Thursday, January 2: 

  • Irvine
  • La Habra
  • Laguna Beach
  • Lake Forest
  • Foothill Ranch
  • Portola Hills
  • Mission Viejo
  • Santa Ana
  • Communities in unincorporated Orange County, including Coto de Caza, Cowan Heights, Emerald Bay, Las Flores, Lemon Heights, Modjeska Canyon, North Tustin, Orange Park Acres, Silverado Canyon and Trabuco Canyon

All Waste Management of Orange County operations will be closed, including transfer stations in Irvine and Orange, on Wednesday, December 25 and Wednesday, January 1.
