It’s About Abundance not Deprivation

It's about abundance, not deprivation. Want to feel great and have more energy? Eat foods grown on a plant, not in a plant.

Ever wonder why it’s so hard to lose weight on a diet? Have you noticed that the first three letters spell d-i-e?  Diet’s are based on adopting a restrictive eating lifestyle for a period of time. The psychology of dieting just doesn’t work.  The moment you are told you can’t have something, you want it.  Not only do you feel deprived, you can’t wait to finish the diet so you can get back to eating the foods that you love.

Rather than starting another diet this fall, why not consider a new © eating portfolio instead?  It’s simple to get started.  Choose to eat fresh whole foods, the kind that are grown on a plant, not made in a plant.  We have been fooled by products marketed to us as food, that are literally driving the epidemics of obesity and diabetes in our country.  According to the most recent CDC statistics, more than one-third of U.S. adults are obese, and over 8% of the U.S. population are living with diabetes.  People are suffering and the solution is to get back to the basics and eat real food.

Make a commitment to start buying nutritious whole food.  By bringing in the good, you will naturally crowd out the bad.  Try some greens with dinner tonight.  I’m not going to tell you to stop eating your favorite food, since that will just make you want it more.  Be kind to yourself.  The food choices you make will either nourish your cells or wreak havoc in your body.  Remember that the food you eat creates the blood that provides every organ in your body with the nourishment it needs to function optimally.  Want to feel great and have more energy?  Need to release a few pounds?  Eating nutrient rich whole foods is the path to wellness.
