Brrrr! Cold Nights Ahead in Lake Forest

Lake Forest will see a low of 39 degrees Tuesday, forecasters say.

Gusty winds buffeted the Southland and combined with low humidity levels Tuesday to create wildfire conditions for the second consecutive day.

A red flag warning, denoting a high risk of fire, was scheduled to be in
force in Orange, Los Angeles and Ventura counties until 4 p.m.

Meanwhile, temperatures in Lake Forest are expected to plummet. The National Weather Service is forecasting a low of 39 degrees for Tuesday night. It will warm up a little bit Wednesday, when Lake Forest will see a high near 65 and a low of 42.
