Explore Lake Forest Parks On Saturday 'Safari'

Families can visit the city's six most recently renovated parks on the weekend tour.

If you haven't yet explored the city's recently revamped parks, Saturday is the day to do so.

A "parks safari" through Lake Forest from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. will highlight a handful of parks in the city, giving children a short time to play on the playground at each stop.

The Saturday trip, which starts at , includes visits to , , , the , the site of the ,  and .

Cost is $3 per person, which includes a morning snack, transportation, commemorative souvenir and barbecue at the last stop.

Children must be at least 3 years old to participate.
