Families Flock to Autumn Festival

A costume parade, carnival games, live-action pirate show and historical tours highlighted the family-friendly event Saturday in Lake Forest.

Children dressed up as everything from fairies to members of a SWAT team flocked to the Heritage Hill Park for the city's Autumn Harvest Fair.

At the event, families wandered the park, checking out the evening's costume parade, live-action pirate show, magic demonstrations and carnival games.
