Rick Warren To Hold Five Easter Services, Make ABC Appearance

Rick and Kay Warren, cofounders of Lake Forest's Saddleback Church, will be featured on a special Easter Sunday broadcast on ABC's 'This Week.'

Pastor Rick Warren has more planned for Sunday than the five Easter services he will lead at Lake Forest's .

An interview with the internationally-recognized evangelical Christian and his wife, Kay Warren, airs 8 a.m. Sunday on ABC's "This Week."

The Warrens founded Saddleback Church on Easter Day in 1980.

According to ABC News, Warren speaks exclusively with ABC correspondent Jake Tapper about the "spiritual state of the nation."

He "talks candidly about the country's reignited culture wars, his view of the proper intersection of church and state, as well as finding comfort and keeping faith in difficult times," according to ABC.

Kay Warren, in turn, talks about her recently-released book, "Choose Joy: Because Happiness Isn't Enough." She also appears earlier that morning to discuss the book, at 5:15 a.m. on CNN Sunday Morning.

Lake Forest residents, however, will be able to get closer to Warren than simply watching the television screen, if they are so inclined.

Warren will give his Easter sermon—"Trusting in God When You Don't Feel Like Trusting Him"—five times at the Lake Forest church on Sunday.

Easter Sunday services at at are 7 a.m. 9 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
