Small Power Outage In Lake Forest

A spokesman said the outage was not part of the power losses due to the Santa Ana winds.

About 12 people lost power in Lake Forest early Friday morning, but strong winds were not to blame, says a spokesman with Southern California Electric.

Although powerful gusts left some in the Southland without power Thursday night and early Friday morning, the small outage in Lake Forest was planned.

SCE personnel turned the power off to fix equipment problems, according to the utility company.
