Logan Dooley is the No. 2 trampoline athlete in the United States and will attend the 2012 Summer Olympics as an alternate.
During the Relay For Life in Rancho Santa Margarita on Saturday, Dooley showed a litte bit of what he practices at World Elite gymnastics in RSM. A number of athletes who train at World Elite participated in the exhibition.
Dooley, of Lake Forest, performed for less than a minute, but he won the approval of those in attendance. According to Peter Dodd, who runs World Elite, Dooley is capable of launching even higher in the air when he competes indoors on a steadier trampoline; the one Saturday rocked a bit because it was on grass after the previous night's rain.
