Waste Management of Orange County to Host Shred Event for Lake Forest Residents

Lake Forest Residents Invited to Drop Off Documents at El Toro High School on June 23 for Free Shredding

On Saturday, June 23, Waste Management of Orange County invites Lake Forest residents to Think Green and help prevent identify theft with a complimentary document shredding event.

The free shredding service will be offered from 8 to 11:30 a.m. for Lake Forest residents in the El Toro High School student parking lot at the corner of Ridge Route and Serrano in Lake Forest.

The event is open to residents in the City of Lake Forest only. Proof of residency or utility bill is required. There is a limit of 10 boxes per household. No appointment is necessary for the shredding event.

“Shredding is a safe, eco-friendly way of destroying personal documents and recycling unnecessary paper,” said Michelle Clark, community relations representative. “Nowadays, you can never be too careful when preventing identity theft. We’re happy to bring this free and convenient service to Lake Forest residents to help recycle shredded paper into new products.”
