Orange County health officials shut down Manila Kusina in Lake Forest following discovery of a cockroach infestation.

Inspectors visited the restaurant at 24601 Raymond Way, Suite 10, Friday, according to an online report.

The restaurant was allowed to reopen two days later.

Inspectors have made several trips to Manila Kusina in the past year. In October, they determined food was not being held at proper temperatures – the tilapia was stacked too high from the heat source – and found a number of other lesser violations.

In May, inspectors discovered a similar problem with the tilapia and a hand sanitizer that contained no hand sanitizer.
