Jersey Mike's Offers Free Subs for Donations to Children's Charity

Two local sandwich shops are raising money for the Jessie Rees Foundation as part of their anniversary celebrations on Friday.

Lake Forest's two Jersey Mike’s sub shops are teaming up Friday with the Jessie Rees Foundation to celebrate their fourth- and fifth-year anniversaries.

Both the Lake Forest shop on El Toro Road and the Foothill Ranch location at 45 Auto Center Drive will raise money for the charity, which supports children with cancer, while offering deals on sandwiches, drawings for free lunches and balloons for children from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday.

The Jersey Mike’s Subs at 23572 El Toro Rd. is marking its fourth year in business. At 3 p.m., the store will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Attendees can meet Lake Forest's mayor, Kathryn McCullough. Foothill Ranch's Jersey Mike's is celebrating its fifth year in business.
