San Onofre Offers Nuke Info in Laguna Hills

Representatives of the power plant will have an "off-site open house" on Thursday.

Representatives from the San Onofre nuclear power plant will give a presentation Thursday, Dec. 20, to explain to the public the workings of the plant.

The San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station's "off-site open house," at the Laguna Hills Community Center's Heritage Room, will cover such topics as radiation, plant security, steam generators and environmental activities.

The event will be held from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at 25555 Alicia Parkway.
