20% Chance of Rain, Thunderstorms in Lake Forest Monday

Although the temperature is expected to reach the low 70s Monday, there's a 20 percent chance that the day will bring rain showers and thunderstorms as well, predicts the National Weather Service.

Patchy fog is likely before 11 a.m. Monday. Once the fog burns off, clouds will remain for a time, the weather service predicts.

Eventually, the day will become mostly sunny, with a high near 74. A calm wind west wind will accompany the mild weather.

By Monday night, the possibility of rain returns. A drizzle of rain could arrive after 11 p.m. Increasing cloud cover is expected, with the night's low dropping to about 56 degrees.
