Lake Forest 6th Annual Relay for Life Begins Saturday

The 24-hour walkathon raises money for the American Cancer Society's efforts in Orange County.

This weekend, runners and walkers will circle the track at El Toro High School for a 24-hour period as part of the city's .

Proceeds from the event go to the American Cancer Society. Money raised at the Lake Forest walkathon is used to support people in Orange County who are struggling with cancer.

Relay for Life is a celebration of those who have beaten the disease and a time to remember those who lost their fight, as well as a fundraiser.
