Mom and Me sounds like a movie, and though we're sure Meryl Streep or Glenn Close could do our mothers proud on the big screen, at the moment there's no such project in the works. However, Patch is looking for Mom and Me photos. Or Me and the Kids photos. Or Wife and Kids photos.
With Mother's Day about two weeks away, Patch is looking for Lake Forest's favorite mom, so we're asking our readers to submit Mom photos (including a kid) along with a few sentences in the caption box that tells why Mom is so special.
They are the angels of our lives. You're proud of your mom—let the community know about it.

All we ask is that one of the people pictured be from our community; could be mom, could be the nominating kid.
Voting will continue through 2 p.m. on May 8—that's next Tuesday.
And yes, there is a prize. The top vote-getter will receive $50 toward a spa, floral, restaurant or shopping treat for mom.
Not only that, Patch will assemble more than two dozen local winners to be part of a second round of voting, with that winner to receive a $1,000 Visa Gift Card.
