18|8 Fine Men's Salon Opening in Lake Forest: Introduces Entirely New Grooming Experience

18|8 Fine Men’s Salons will arrive April 11 to The Orchard in Lake Forest, Calif. 18|8 Salons are the reinvention of the barber shop providing hair and other grooming services.

“18|8 Salons are designed to meet the unique needs of men. We provide an appealing and relaxing environment for men to receive services” said Chris Park, who will be opening his first location at 23626 El Toro Road, in Lake  Forest. “Our mission is to help transform men to look and perform their best. 18|8 stylists and staff provide advice, solutions and the consistency men deserve but can only find today in women’s focused full service salons.”

In 1913, Harry Brearly discovered that adding 18% chromium and 8% nickel to steel eliminated rust. The formula, known as 18|8, transformed steel into better looking and better performing stainless steel. 18|8 Fine Men’s Salons mission is to help transform their clientele to look and perform their best. 18|8’s distinctive collection of upscale
services are moderately priced in the $32 to $45 range. Haircuts and grooming
are provided in semi-private areas.

At 18|8, men can relax in the brand’s signature lounge area before their grooming services, which range from cuts and styling (modern and classic) to straight edge hot lather shaves, facials, massages, scalp treatments and more.

The 18|8 team takes the time to learn about its clients, their personalities and specialneeds, and then caters services to mirror their lifestyle choices. Customers may even purchase memberships that cover prepaid hair and grooming services.

“This will be far and away the most original and imaginative space for men to experience hair and grooming services in Lake Forest and the Orange County area,” said Park, “We will be fulfilling unmet needs of our guests.”

18|8 is a franchised based model. Scott Griffiths, who launched 18|8 Fine Men’s Salons in 2002, has a track record of creating breakthrough brands. Given his company’s successes, he recently began franchising 18|8, sharing the opportunity for driven entrepreneurs such as Park to become part of its growth. Griffiths is a recognized marketing and branding trendsetter who
has created and built industry-leading companies across several sectors. Recently, Griffiths cast his golden touch on the hair care industry with 18|8 and by creating the brand Mitch for Men from
Paul Mitchell.

Park is leveraging his experience with leadership and team management as he opens his new business. When not working on opening and soon to be operating his 18|8 salon, Park enjoys golfing at his
favorite golf club Oak Quarry in Riverside.

“We’re thrilled to have Chris in the 18|8 family. He is an
entrepreneur at heart, so he shares our brand’s passion for business,” said
Griffiths, who serves as CEO of the company. “We look forward to seeing Chris grow his business – it’s important our proven business model offers franchisees something they can feel great about running.”
