What's Up?


The Grocery Manufactures Association, a group of transnational
corporations ( Monsanto, Kraft Foods, Nabisco, General Mills, Coca
Cola,) will be hosting a conference put on by high powered attorneys
solely on:

introducing a watered down GMO labeling bill on the federal level


laws to thwart States from implementing GMO labeling, bring law suits
against communities and/or states that have implemented GMO label laws
or created GMO Free zones

how to thwart laws and class action
suits pertaining to food safety which includes laws regarding food dyes,
nano technology and the new controversial "green" in plant agent orange
pesticides 2-4D to name a few.

Why be involved?

It
is our duty for Orange County to carry the torch as this event is
taking place in out back yard. The main goal is to tie together the
various TPP groups in OC, LA San Diego, Inland Empire and consolidate
for a grand day of action.

March Against Monsanto LB,
Labelgmos.org Southern Cal, Food and Water Watch, Moms Across America,
Americans Organized for Change have all signed on. Others will soon join
as we are ready to launch this into action to spread to word.

Planning Notes from John Diaz: I have been to the site and see we have
a perfect setting for a safe event. I have met with the city planning
and Police Dept. We have a green light for the event.

General
Info: the Salt Creek State Park is located on the corner of PCH and
Ritz Carlton Rd in Dana Point. There is a vast parking area located here
just across the street to the Ritz hotel. Parking in available from 5am
to 12pm. Parking costs a dollar and the meters take credit /debit
cards.
