Today is The Great American Smokeout

Today is the Great American Smokeout (put on by the American Cancer Society), a day of support and encouragement for smokers looking to quit the habit.  Quitting smoking at any age reduces risk for a variety of diseases, cancers, and other serious illnesses.  Cessation and prevention efforts aim to stop the over 440,000 American deaths that occur every year as a result of smoking, the single largest preventable cause of disease in the U.S. 

The following is a list of free Orange County resources smokers and their loved ones can use in their fight to quit smoking:
