Prelude in the Park/Pacific Symphony, an Olympic Celebration

The Prelude in the Park and Pacific Symphony and will take place on Sat., July 26, 2014 starting with the Prelude at 4 pm on the Village Green (Oso Viejo Park- grass at Norman P. Murray Community Center), 23942 Veterans Way, MV 92692.    Enjoy free, family, friendly games and activities some of which are put on by more than 30 local, nonprofit organizations and churches.

Don’t miss this!  The City of Mission Viejo is celebrating the 30th anniversary of 1984 Olympic Cycling event as well as Conductor Carl St.Clair’s 25th year with the symphony.

The two milestones will be marked by Prelude in the Park, a musical playground and an outdoor concert led by Maestro Carl St. Clair.

At 5:30 pm, children ages 3-12 years old will have the opportunity to make an instrument, play a drum and meet Maestro Carl St. Clair in an interactive hands-on musical playground.

The Pacific Symphony will take center stage at 7 pm.

Shuttle service from the Mission Viejo Civic Center will be available from 4 p.m. to 9:30 pm and golf carts will shuttle visitors from Newhart Middle School to the event.   For more information, visit www.cityofmissionviejo.org
