Monthly Meeting - January

A growing number of members and guests met last night at the Lake Forest Holiday Inn for an enjoyable evening of dinner and companionship.  The featured speaker was Greg Raths, a career Marine Fighter Pilot who shared excerpts from his book "9 Lives of a Fighter Pilot".  Greg is running for Congress for the 45th District in the November election.

The next meeting of the South Coast Chapter of MOAA will be 6:00 PM Thursday, February 20th and will feature member Bill Manes who recently returned from a cruise of the Antarctic at the same time as the ice-blocked Australian passenger ship that was in the news.  I'm sure he will have some interesting insight on his experience.
