Dog food & treats

When buying food or treats for your dog- the label is everything. Check the country of origin. Avoid China! Check the ingredients. The items listed are in numerical order based on the amount of that ingredient in the food. For example, if the first ingredient is corn, most of the food is corn. By the way corn and other grains are the cheapest filler for dog food. Dogs do not need grain.they don't do well with grain. Buy foods marked "grain free". The first ingredient should be a protein like meat, fish or chicken. There should be fruits and vegetables . The major pet stores now carry a large section of these types of foods. Veterinarians will advise you of the proper food to feed your pets in order for them to have a longer and healthier life. Your pet depends on you, so do the research .
