"And In This Corner, Driving the White Toyota ..."

Distracted driving is dangerous. Add this to the things that shouldn't be done while on the road.

By Martin Henderson

Distracted driving is dangerous driving. Texting, talking on the phone, eating. It's all bad when you're driving a 2,000-pound weapon down the street.

And so it was that a driver spotted something unusual as a vehicle hurtled eastbound on El Toro Road.

According to the blotter of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, an informant called to report a case of apparently reckless driving.

The white Toyota Corolla was swerving all over the lanes as it headed away from Interstate 5.

According to the caller, the vehicle was occupied by two people.

Two people who appeared to be in a physical altercation.
That's right. They appeared to give new meaning to the term hit-and-run. They appeared to be fighting

The call was made Friday, 8:42 p.m., from El Toro Road and Rockfield.

This report was culled from the Orange County Sheriff's website. Not all facts in each report are made public; the outcome of the report and its actual facts may differ from the original blotter item. There should be no assumption of guilt based on this limited information.
