Crime Blotter: A Ruckus from Above

Plus: unwanted escort service, burglaries and other selected reports from the Orange County Sheriff's Department blotter for Lake Forest from Nov. 16-20.

Highlights from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department log:

Vandalism report. 10:03 a.m. Tuesday. 22900 block of El Toro Road.

Burglar alarm-audible. 3:42 a.m. Tuesday. 26800 block of Vista Terrace.

Vandalism in progress. 1:48 p.m. Monday. Tamarisk and Peachwood.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 8:38 a.m. Monday. Portola Parkway and SR-241.

Burglar alarm-audible. 11:19 p.m. Sunday. 26200 block of Enterprise Way. Deputies responding to a burglar alarm found evidence of forced entry in the rear of a warehouse.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 5:34 p.m. Saturday. 21500 block of Montbury Drive. A concerned resident asked deputies to check for a short man, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, who was looking into vehicles as he walked around the neighborhood.

Unwanted escort service. 11:24 a.m. Saturday. 24300 block of Bark Street. A caller said a former client sent an escort service to the location. No one at the location requested the escort.

Suspicious vehicle. 8:05 a.m. Friday. 23000 block of Lotus Lane. A citizen said a group of kids dropped off a silver Dodge Stratus near the area before speeding off in another vehicle.

Ruckus from above. 12:55 a.m. Friday. 22100 block of Rimhurst Drive. A resident said the home was shaking, possibly from people running, jumping or pounding on the ceiling, adding that it's an ongoing problem.
