She described seeing a man and boy, about 8 years old, in a boat taking eggs from the nests of ducks and/or geese.
Teachers at the school yelled at the alleged poachers to not take the eggs, but the pleas fell on deaf ears. One of the teachers filmed the incident and thought it could be used to direct sheriff deputies to the man's house.
The man was described as being about 45 years old, the boy about 8. They had fishing poles, wore baseball hats and the boy had a life vest.
The informant was given the name of the Department of Fish and Wildlife, as well.
The call was made at 1:01 p.m. from the 24200 block of Muirlands.
