Drunk, Scantily Clad Youths, and Other Cop Calls

A selection of calls from Lake Forest to the county Sheriff's Department from July 29 to Aug. 2.

A caller asked deputies to check near Portola Parkway and Towne Centre Drive for about 100 kids who appeared to be drunk and loitering in the plaza, a few wearing only underwear.

The call was made around 9:31 p.m. Friday.

Disturbance. 8:48 a.m. Tuesday. 19000 block of Singingwood Circle.

Investigate person down. 7:30 p.m. Monday. 24400 block of Redlen Street. Deputies arrested an 18-year-old man and placed him in custody at Orange County Jail where he was cited and released.

Threats report. 8:37 a.m. Monday. 0 block of Orchard. A 46-year-old woman was arrested and placed in custody at Orange County Jail. She was released when she posted bail.

Traffic stop. 8:54 a.m. Monday. Rockfield Boulevard and El Toro Road. A 39-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and placed in custody at Central Men’s Jail with no bail set.

Disturbance. 2:49 a.m. Monday. 20700 block of El Toro Road. Deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 28-year-old man and placed him in custody at Orange County Jail. He was released when he posted bail.

Citizen assist. 9:07 p.m. Sunday. Aliso Park Drive and El Toro Road. Deputies arrested a 22-year-old woman and placed her in custody at Orange County Jail, where she was cited and released.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 8:34 p.m. Sunday. Bake Parkway and Rancho Parkway. A caller said a woman was walking in and out of traffic yelling for help.

Disturbance—music or party. 12:24 p.m. Sunday. El Toro Road and Jeronimo Road. A caller said a friend tipped him that a group of day laborers were drinking and smoking illegal substances next to a green transformer box near the location.

Traffic stop. 8:53 p.m. Saturday. Lake Forest Drive and Rancho Parkway. A 42-year-old woman was arrested during a traffic stop and placed in custody at Musick Facility on $20,000 bail.

Disturbance. 7:26 p.m. Saturday. 23100 block of Saguaro Street. Deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 27-year-old man and placed him in custody at Central Men’s Jail on $100,000 bail.

Traffic stop. 1:59 p.m. Saturday. Lake Forest Drive and Rockfield Boulevard. A 28-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and placed in custody at Orange County Jail with no bail.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 11:02 a.m. Saturday. 24700 block of Toledo Lane. Deputies responding to a suspicious person report arrested a 39-year-old man and placed him in custody at Orange County Jail where he was cited and released.

Traffic stop. 11:27 p.m. Friday. El Toro Road and Muirlands Boulevard. A 20-year-old woman was arrested during a traffic stop and placed in custody at Orange County Jail where she was cited and released.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 7:19 p.m. Friday. 23300 block of Dune Mear Road. A caller said four kids were drinking and smoking marijuana on a picnic table behind the library.

Patrol check. 5:49 p.m. Friday. Jeronimo Road and Los Alisos Boulevard. A caller asked deputies to check for a black Audi station wagon after reportedly watching the driver place an object in front of the vehicle's license plates to hide them.
