Caller Reports Prowler Banging on Doors and Windows, and Other Cop Calls

A selection of calls from Lake Forest to the county Sheriff's Department from Aug. 5-9.

A man in a blue hooded sweatshirt startled a resident near the 22100 block of Windward Way when he reportedly began circling the house, banging on doors and windows in the middle of the night.

The resident called police from inside the residence and reported a possible prowler at about 12:58 a.m. Monday.

Disturbance. 7:33 p.m. Monday. 25100 block of Serrano Road. Deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 30-year-old man and took him into custody at the Central Men’s Jail on $10,000 bail.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 10:50 a.m. Monday. Jutewood Place and Los Andes Street. Deputies responding to a report of a suspicious person arrested a 43-year-old man and took him into custody at the Central Men’s Jail on $20,000 bail.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 1:47 a.m. Monday. 27000 block of Vista Terrace. Deputies responding to a suspicious-person report arrested a 28-year-old man and placed him in custody at the Orange County Jail. He was released when he posted bail.

Traffic stop. 2:18 p.m. Sunday. Orange Avenue and Whisler Drive. A 25-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and taken into custody at the Central Men’s Jail on $15,500 bail.

Traffic accident—non-injury. 1:54 a.m. Sunday. Ridge Route Drive and El Rond Lane. Deputies responding to a traffic accident arrested a 19-year-old man and took him into custody at the Orange County Jail, where he was cited and released.

Traffic stop. 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Gondor Drive and Brookfield Circle. A 25-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was taken into custody at the Central Men’s Jail. with no bail set.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 11:33 p.m. Saturday. El Toro Road and Raymond Way. Deputies responding to a suspicious-person report arrested a 21-year-old man and placed him in custody at the Orange County Jail, where he was released for undisclosed reasons.

Disturbance—family dispute. 5:28 p.m. Saturday. 26100 block of Serrano Court. Deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 25-year-old woman and placed her in custody at the Orange County Jail. She was released when she posted bail.

Traffic stop. 9:36 p.m. Friday. Murin Isle Lane and Canada Court. A 29-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and placed into custody at the Central Men’s Jail on $50,000 bail.

Disturbance. 5:53 p.m. Friday. 24700 block of Calle Tres Lomas. Deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 36-year-old man and placed him in custody at the Central Men’s Jail, with no bail set.

911 hang-up. 6:40 p.m. Friday. 24000 block of Pandora Street. A 42-year-old woman was arrested and taken into custody at Orange County Jail. She was released when she posted bail.
