Car Parked on Aliso Creek Bike Path and Other Cop Calls

At 11:01 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported two vehicles racing up and down Peachwood from Trabuco Road. The informant told police that the drivers were speeding at about 60 mph.

At 5:19 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a traffic accident at Rockfield Boulveard and El Toro Road involving multiple cars. According to the report, a white Chevy van rear-ended a stopped grey Nissan pick-up truck, pushing it into a Toyota and a silver Honda. Witnesses said the driver of the Chevy van took off on foot after the collision. Parademics were called to care for an 8-month-old child with redness and bruising.

At 2:47 p.m. Tuesday, an caller reported a disturbance at El Toro Road and Jutewood Place. Police arrested a 32-year-old woman in front of a salon. She was taken into custody on $10,000 bail.

At 8:19 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious vehicle near the intersection of El Toro Road and Valley Vista Way. According to the report, police found an unoccupied Camry parked on the Aliso Creek bike path. Police arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with the vehicle. He was taken into custody on $50,000 bail.

At 3:10 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a suspicious person at a park playground on the 23700 block of Los Alisos Boulevard. The informant said that the man was playing with some young girls at the park until their father took them away from him, sparking the caller's suspicions. According to the report, police arrested a 45-year-old man on parole. Her was taken into custody on $100,000 bail.

At 10:18 a.m. on Sunday, police arrested a woman who reportedly had a warrant out for her arrest in connection with a petty theft charge. The woman was taken into custody on the 24600 block of Corta Cresta Drive.

At 3:34 a.m. Saturday, police and firefighters responded to a report of a traffic accident on the 23300 block of Buckland Lane. According to the report, a driver lost control and drove his vehicle into the backyard of a residence. Police took the 27-year-old into custody.

At 2:29 a.m. Saturday, police arrested a 44-year-old man at the intersection of El Toro and Trabuco roads. According to the report, a man and a woman jumped out of a vehicle when police pulled it over for a traffic stop. The man has since been released from custody.
