Cops Arrest Son After Dispute with Father

Christopher Sean Ponce, 23, is arrested on suspicion of narcotics possession.

Police arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of possessing narcotics after his father called the cops to report a disturbance, police said.

A call to the Orange County Sheriff's Derpartment dispatch came in at 12:50 a.m. Friday, with a man saying his irate son needed assistance, Sgt. Angel Andrade of Lake Forest Police Services said.

"The son was basically out of control," Andrade said.

A call from the home came in a little bit later from the same house, this time from a woman saying her husband had just been mad earlier because she had spilled some orange juice on the carpet, Andrade said.

"It looks like she was trying to smooth things over,"Andrade said.

Deputies responded to the house at the 0 block of Bell Vista. During an investigation, Andrade said, they discovered narotics on the scene and arrested the son, 23-year-old Christopher Sean Ponce. He's being held on $20,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, according to court records.
