Gun Shots Heard, And Other Cop Calls

Selected reports from the Orange County sheriff's blotter in Lake Forest in the past few days.

At 9:49 p.m. Wednesday, deputies arrested a 23-year-old man in the 24500 block of Bendricon Lane. According to the report, the man was involved in a fight of at least 30 people, some with weapons. The fight appeared to have taken place in the Bigshots parking lot. At least three subjects were detained. The man was taken into custody and bail was set for $25,000.

At 7:32 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported suspicious activity in the 21000 block of Marin. According to the report, five to six minors were suspected of doing drugs in a grey SUV.

At 5:17 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a hit and run to a parked vehicle in the 23800 block of El Toro Road. The report stated that a woman was backing out of a parking spot and collided with a parked Cadillac. A witnessed told the woman to leave a note but the woman got back in her vehicle and took off.

At 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a traffic hazard near the Lake Forest Drive and Rockfield Boulevard intersection. According to the report, there were large chunks of wood in the street just past Rockfield. 

At 2:35 p.m. Wednesday, deputies assisted firefighters in the 26500 block of Normandale Drive. The report stated that a 71-year-old man was repeatedly falling out of a wheel chair and possibly contemplating committing suicide by rolling himself down a hill.

At 1:46 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a non-injury traffic accident near the Los Alisos Boulevard and Jeronimo Road. According to the report, a group of minors were driving too fast and hit a center divider. The subjects were seen in a heated verbal argument after the accident occurred. 

At 10:21 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 25300 block of Mountainwood Way. According to the report, a group of minors were being rowdy behind a leasing office and throwing furniture around. 

At 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a family disturbance in the 22800 block of Maza Court. According to the report, a man’s wife was throwing dishes around the house. The woman did not have weapons and was not suspected to be on drugs.

At 3:21 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reportedly heard four gun shots fired near the 19700 block of Torres Way.

At 11:01 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported vandalism in the 200 block of Osterman Road. According to the report, the informant's neighbor was spray painting on Sunday and some of the paint landed on their vehicle. The neighbor refused to pay for the damages and requests assistance from deputies.
