Beauty Shop Blaze, Golf Cart Joy Ride, 'Inappropriate Touching'

At 2:02 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a suspicious person in a vehicle near the 22600 block of Cherry Avenue. The informant reported seeing a subject inside of a red Toyota sedan parked near the park’s basketball courts "doing inappropriate touching."

At 1:23 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance near the El Toro Road and Rockfield Boulevard intersection. A male transient on a bicycle was reportedly intoxicated and yelling at people on the street.

At 9:26 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported vandalism on the 24400 block of Rockfield Boulevard. According to the report, someone at Sally's Beauty Supply suspected that a former employee was behind a small fire at the shop's rear entrance. There was no major damage reported and the fire went out quickly.

At 11:12 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance on the 23200 block of Orange Avenue. According to the report, two male minors were seen drinking alcohol in a park. One minor was later detained by police.

At 6:01 p.m. Monday, police arrested a 24-year-old man on the 23700 block of Rockfield Boulevard. The man was staying at the Quality Inn Suites and was causing a disturbance in his room. The man appeared to be intoxicated and was cited by police for the infraction.

At 2:23 p.m. Monday, police arrested a 24-year-old man on the 24500 block of Bridger Road. According to the report, the man hit his pregnant wife and was taken into custody. The man has since been released on a bond.

At 6:39 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported suspicious activity on the 22700 block of Lake Forest Drive. According to the report, the informant was upset about a subject who was smoking marijuana in the apartment below her. The informant was unsure if the marijuana was being used legally and said she is especially concerned for her health because she’s pregnant

At 12:10 p.m. Sunday, police were called to conduct a welfare check on the 24000 block of Gemwood Drive. The informant reported seeing a 12-year old taking a joy ride on a golf cart in the street. The informant felt the situation was dangerous.

At 11:40 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a drunken driver near the Regency Lane and Lake Forest Drive intersection. The informant was reportedly standing in line to pay for gas and noticed a driver who “reeked of alcohol and was slurring his words.”

At 8:00 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported suspicious activity near the Portola Parkway and Paloma intersection. The informant reported a group of minors lighting objects on fire at the dead end of Portola. The report stated that firefighters responded.
