Report: Caller Assaulted After Turning Off Loud Video Game

A selection of recent reports from the Orange County sheriff's blotter in Lake Forest.

At 11:37 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported an assault in the 21500 block of Lost River Court. The informant reported being assaulted by his sister’s 24-year-old boyfriend for turning off the couple's video game console because it was too loud. The informant said he was "really hurt" but declined medical assistance.

At 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a suspicious person near the El Toro Road and Rockfield Boulevard intersection. The informant reported a 60-something woman with dreadlocks smoking from a crackpipe at a bus stop on El Toro Road.

At 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a reckless driver near the Orchard Rim Lane and Treeshade Lane intersection. The informant reported that a red Honda Civic was spotted repeatedly drifting around corners in their neighborhood. The vehicle was last seen heading north on Trabuco Road.

At 6:34 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to assist a citizen in the 24400 block of Peacock street. The informant told dispatch that his neighbor had dumped cleaning products into a street drain.

At 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Rimhurst Drive and Trabuco Road intersection. The informant said five men were smoking marijuana near the White Oak Apartments community pool.

At 2:09 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 23500 block of El Toro Road. The informant reported an argument at Bigshot's Billiards led to someone getting punched in the face. Neither party wanted to press charges, according to the report. 

At 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported vandalism in progress near the Dylan Avenue and Lipton street intersection. The report stated that a minor in a red shirt was seen tagging walls at Mountain View park.

At 7:17 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to assist a citizen in the 23100 block of La Vaca street. According to the informant, someone in the Saguaro Apartments was washing paint down the street. 

At 4:51 p.m. Tuesday, deputies arrested a 57-year-old man in the 20600 block of Lake Forest Drive. According to the report, the man, who had a warrant out for his arrest, was found slumped over the door of a van. The man was taken into custody on $10,000 bail.
