CVS Customer Punched in Face and Other Cop Calls

Selected reports from the Sheriff's Department blotter for Lake Forest.

At 10:50 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a family disturbance in the 1900 block of Canyon Terrace Drive. The informant said her husband threw water and jumped on her when she was in bed.

At 9:01 p.m. Sunday, police assisted firefighters in the 24000 block of Silverbay Drive. Paramedics were needed for a 17-year-old boy who reportedly took too many pills and was having seizures. The boy was transported to Saddleback Hospital. 

At 8:24 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported suspicious activity in the 23200 block of El Toro Frontage Road. People were smoking marijuana near Abiding Savior Lutheran church. The suspects eventually left the property. 

At 4:13 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported suspicious activity near the Tamarisk and Peachwood intersection. Some male minors were being loud and lighting trash on fire in Tamarisk Park. The minors took off and hid in a playground. 

At 7:18 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported vandalism in progress near the Osterman Road and Regency Road intersection. Some teens were reportedly tagging electrical boxes on Osterman. 

At 6:43 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a reckless driver near the Bake Parkway and Portola Parkway intersection. A suspected drunk driver was  swerving all over the road and almost caused several traffic accidents. The driver eventually pulled into the Target parking lot.

At 9:37 p.m. Friday, a caller reported vandalism in progress near the El Toro Road and I-5 freeway intersection. Eight minors were using chalk under a freeway overpass. 

At 8:36 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported suspicious activity near the El Toro Road and Rockfield Boulevard intersection. A strong chemical odor was emanating from the Green Thumb nursery

At 9:26 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported battery in the 24900 block of Muirlands Boulevard. A man punched the informant in the face at CVS. The man was last seen on El Toro heading towards Jeronimo.

At 2:40 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance near the Muirlands Boulevard and Los Alisos intersection. Minors were reportedly smoking illegal narcotics under a bike trail bridge.
