Allegedly Drunk Parent Picks Up Kids From School, and Other Cop Calls

At 10:55 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a disturbance on the 23600 block of Rockfield Boulevard. According to the report, a 17-year-old girl was causing a disturbance at a dentist's office because they would not work on her teeth since she was not accompanied by an adult.

At 7:36 a.m. Friday police arrested a 23-year-old man near the Lake Forest Drive and Dimension Drive intersection. According to he report, the man appeared to be driving under the influence of alcohol and had a warrant out for his arrest. The man was taken into custody on $65,000 bail.

At 1:51 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a hit-and-run collision near the Serrano Road and Toledo Way intersection. The informant reported seeing a blue Toyota Tacoma hit a street sign and take off. According to the report, the called suspected the driver was intoxicated

At 10:59 p.m. Thursday, police arrested a 30-year-old man near the Rockfield Boulevard and Landisview Avenue. According to the report, police were conducting a traffic stop and discovered the driver was unlicensed. The man was taken into custody on $1,500 bail.

At 8:23 p.m. Thursday, a traffic accident occurred near the El Toro Road and I-5 freeway intersection. A woman on a Schwinn beach cruiser had collided with a Toyota Camry. Firefighters reportedly transported the woman to Saddleback Hospital to be treated for neck and back pain.

At 2:38 p.m. Thursday, police arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of drunk driving on the 21800 block of Winding Way. According to the report, the man was picking up his kids from when someone spotted an open container of alcohol in his vehicle. The school principal reportedly stopped the parent from driving away. The man was taken into custody on $10,000 bail

At 10:51 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported that people were drunk in public on the 23600 block of El Toro Road. The report stated that four people were drinking and acting intoxicated in front of Pei Wei Asian Diner. The informant was concerned the subjects were going to drive away

At 3:34 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance on the 2500 block of Via Del Rio. According to the report, a group of minors were riding small dirt bikes up and down the street and looked like they were going to run them off a ramp.

At 11:01 a.m. Wednesday, police were called to conduct a welfare check on the 23200 block of Orange Avenue. According to the report, the informant's grandson had taken eight Oxycodone, drank unknown amount of tequila and wanted to go sleep in a bathtub. Firefighters were dispatched and transported the subject to Saddleback Hospital.

 At 4:18 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a burglary in progress on the 23500 block of Cavanaugh Road. The informant reportedly saw several people attempting to break into their neighbor's lifted truck. The subjects were last seen heading eastbound on Cavanaugh.
