4 Children Spotted Trying to Hitchhike

At 4:13 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to conduct a welfare check near the Lake Forest Drive and 241 freeway intersection. Deputies were dispatched to check on four young children with their thumbs out, trying to hitchhike across from .

At 2:37 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to help keep the peace in the 22700 block of Malaga Way. According to the report, a handyman become hostile when his customer's neighbor refused give him access to an attic that could only be entered by the neighbor's home.

At 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 24700 block of Belgreen Place. According to the informant, a new roommate threw a blanket over his head and punched him. There was no report of weapons or drugs being involved.

At 11:18 p.m. Monday, deputies assisted firefighters with medical aid in the 25400 block of Alta Loma. According to the report, firefighters were needed to assist the caller's daughter who had allegedly taken a large amount of Vicodin.

At 9:13 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a burglary in the 26700 block of Rancho Parkway. According to the report, someone stole something in the lobby of . There was no further details.

At 8:39 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to conduct a welfare check in the 20700 block of El Toro Road. The informant reportedly saw a male neighbor smoking marijuana near a 3-year-old-child in the Riveroaks apartment complex.

At 11:58 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Lake Forest Drive and Trabuco Road intersection. According to the report, several teens were throwing water balloons at passing vehicles on the roadway.

At 6:18 p.m. Sunday, deputies arrested a 24-year-old-man in the 26700 block of Portola Parkway intersection. The man was arrested for allegedly stealing merchandise from Target. He was taken into custody and has since been released on a bond. 

At 5:39 p.m. Sunday, deputies arrested a 19-year-old-man near the Lobo Drive and El Caballo Street intersection. The man was reportedly fighting another person and deputies allegedly discovered drugs in his vehicle. He was taken into custody and has since been released on bail.

At 10:10 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 24800 block of Calle El Toro Grande. According to the report, there has been an ongoing issue with residents having loud and out of control parties in their residence.
