Police Assist An Injured Goose, and Other Cop Calls

At 8:20 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance on the 23100 block of Lake Center Drive. According to the report, a hotel guest at the Irvine Suites reported that his girlfriend was hitting him and herself, and had also spat on him. There was no report of an arrest. 

At 6:14 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a burglary on the 21100 block of Canada Road. According to the report, the informant reported that a stereo was taken from a residence in the Emerald Court apartment complex. The informant suspected it may have been a man who lives in the area

At 9:58 a.m. Monday, a caller reported vandalism near the Lake Forest Drive and Serrano Road intersection. The informant reported that a significant amount of graffiti has recently appeared on a Serrano Park men’s restroom.

At 9:32 a.m. Monday, police arrested a 26-year-old woman near the El Toro Frontage Road and Whisler Drive intersection. The woman reportedly caused more than $400 in damages to an object near the railroad tracks and had a warrant out for her arrest. She was taken into custody on $15,000 bail.

At 8:31 a.m. Monday, police were called to assist animal control near the Lake Forest Drive and Muirlands Boulevard intersection. Animal services were reportedly on the scene to help an injured Canada Goose. According to the report, vehicles driving through the intersection were swerving so as not to hit the hurt bird.

At 5:24 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported gunshots fired on the 22700 block of Madrid Drive. According to the report, the informant heard four rounds fired from a firearm somewhere within the apartment complex. 

At 11:26 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported petty theft on the 27200 block of Portola Parkway. The informant reported that someone stole two cases of beer from a store and fled in the direction of El Toro Road. 

At 3:27 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Canada Road and Lake Forest Drive intersection. Police were called to search the area for minors who were reportedly throwing rocks at passing vehicles from a retaining wall. 

At 1:55 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported suspicious activity near the Silver Spur and Serrano Road intersection. According to the report, the informant suspected people of smoking heroin in a nearby vacant home.

At 11:26 p.m. Friday, police were called to investigate a person down on the 27300 block of Eastridge Drive. A male subject was seen lying on the sidewalk, possibly in connection to a party taking place in the area. 

At 10:33 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a disturbance on the 23100 block of Lake Center Drive. The informant reported that several people were throwing beer bottles at parked vehicles
