Deputies Detain Three Minors After Gunshot Report, and Other Cop Calls

A selection of reports from Lake Forest to the county Sheriff's Department from July 19 to July 20.

A caller from the 24900 block of Rivendell Drive said they heard a gunshot near Santiago Elementary School. Deputies responding to the call detained three minors who were then released to their parents, according to Lt. Jim England with the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

The call was made around 10:16 p.m., Wednesday.

Disturbance—auto involved. 12:09 a.m. Thursday. 21700 block of Shasta Lake Road.

Trespassing. 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. Caisson Lane and Balustrade Place. Deputies arrested a 53-year-old man on suspicion of trespassing and placed him in custody at Central Men’s Jail with no bail set.

Disturbance. 12:21 a.m. Wednesday. 28400 block of Klondike Drive. Deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 41-year-old man and placed him in custody at Central Men’s Jail where he was released when the District Attorney refused to prosecute.

Shots heard-no suspect information. 11:55 p.m. Tuesday. Camarin Street and Tessera Avenue.

Non cohabitant domestic violence. 9:37 p.m. Tuesday. Rockfield Boulevard and El Toro Road. Sheriff deputies arrested a 33-year-old man and placed him in custody at Central Men’s Jail with no bail set.

Firework violation. 9:06 p.m. Tuesday. 25800 block of Southbrook.

Burglary alarm-silent. 5:52 p.m. Tuesday. 22800 block of Lake Forest Drive.

Disturbance. 2:42 p.m. Tuesday. El Toro Road and Rockfield Boulevard.
