The Irvine couple accused of planting drugs in the car of a school volunteer they believed neglected their son appeared in court Monday for arraignment.
Jill and Kent Easter, both 38, allegedly conspired to get the volunteer arrested and jailed. They are also accused of conspiring to file a fake crime report.
According to the Orange County district attorney, the Easters did not enter a plea on Monday. Their arraignment is now scheduled for Aug. 23.
The husband and wife, both attorneys, were on $20,000 bail. According to court records, they posted bail June 26.
