Escort Calls Cops; She Wants to Be Paid

There's no indication if the patron was dissatisfied with the work performed.

By Martin Henderson

On most dates, it's customary for a man to walk his other half to the door. Or maybe walk her to her car.

But apparently, a date early Saturday morning had a different dynamic.

According to the blotter of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, an escort called on Lake Forest police services because she had been jilted by a paying customer. Well, actually, an unpaying customer.

The woman described herself as an escort and called from outside a room at the Quality Inn and Suites. She claimed that when her work night ended, the male half of the arrangement refused to pay her for services performed.

She reported the scoundrel was also engaged in an argument with her driver, who likely had a vested interest as well—he was probably banking on getting payment of some sort.

Perhaps thinking better of her decision to call on the sheriff to give the deadbeat his comeuppance, the escort and her driver left the area before deputies could arrive.

The call was made Saturday, 3:13 a.m., from the 23700 block of Rockfield.

This report was culled from the Orange County Sheriff's website. Not all facts in each report are made public; the outcome of the report and its actual facts may differ from the original blotter item. There should be no assumption of guilt based on this limited information.
