Double Double Trouble at In-N-Out

The popular restaurant has a couple of incidents over the weekend that get pretty testy, including a fight in the dining room.

By Martin Henderson

Some patrons of a popular burger restaurant weren't very good customers early Sunday morning around closing time.

According to the blotter of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, an informant called to report a fight at the In-N-Out Burger.

The fracas involved eight individuals, and broke out in the dining room. It broke up by the time deputies arrived, and the subjects had left the area. The call was made at 1:12 a.m., from the 26400 block of Towne Centre Drive.

The restaurant was scheduled to close at 1:30 a.m.

It was a busy weekend at the In-N-Out.

About 26 hours earlier, on Friday night about 10:35, sheriff deputies were contacted because about 100 students had descended on the restaurant. According to the informant, the kids were from rival schools and had begun talking loudly at each other; the caller was worried about a fight breaking out. The capacity at the restaurant is 75.

This report was culled from the Orange County Sheriff's website. Not all facts in each report are made public; the outcome of the report and its actual facts may differ from the original blotter item. There should be no assumption of guilt based on this limited information.
