Former Kids' Coach Pleads Guilty to Having Teens Make Him Porn Videos

Robert Vincent Peace, of Lake Forest, is sentenced to eight years and eight months in state prison, but will serve fewer years as part of a deal.

Enticing 13-year-old and 14-year-old girls to make pornographic videos of themselves has landed Lake Forest man Robert Vincent Peace a stretch in state prison.

As part of a deal, Peace, 45, on Friday pleaded guilty to multiple felony charges involving the videos he had the teen girls he met online make for him, Deputy District Attorney Jennifer Walker said.

He was sentenced to eight years and eight months in jail by Orange County Superior Court Judge Craig Robison. Peace must do 85 percent of the sentence and will have to register as a sex offender, Walker said.

At the sentencing, one victim told the judge she wished Peace would be sentenced to more time in prison, Walker said.

Peace, a British citizen, met the 13-year-old girl and the 14-year-old girl through a web-based video chat room, Stickam.com, Walker said.

Walker said Peace threatened the 13-year-old girl that he would post the pornographic videos online if she did not continue to send him images of herself, Walker said. Peace posted some of the videos online anyway, Walker said.

The 14-year-old girl from Virginia sent Peace sexually explicit videos of herself for two years, Walker said.

When his computer held  more than 1,500 images and more than 300 videos of child pornography featuring teenage girls, Walker said.

A member of Peace's family found the child pornography in February 2011 and gave the hard drive to Orange County sheriff's deputies, Walker said.

Peace coached the Irvine Blades, a soccer team for girls younger than 14, Walker said.
