Gun Used By Matthew Warren 'Probably' Wasn't His
Investigators trying to answer questions about the death that stunned the Saddleback Church community.
The shotgun that Matthew Warren used to kill himself, in all likelihood, was not his.
"Probably not," Orange County Sheriff's Department spokesman Jim Amormino told the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday.
Warren's death stunned the Saddleback Church community, of which Rick Warren is the pastor of the wide-reaching megachurch.

Warren explained to his followers that his youngest son, 27, had a lifelong struggle with mental illness and depression, which he chose to end "in a momentary wave of despair at his home" following a fun night with his family on Thursday.
Investigators are trying to determine how Matthew Warren obtained the weapon. An autopsy revealed Warren used the weapon to end his life on Friday, about 10 a.m., in his Mission Viejo home.
