Local Man Dies in Freeway Crash
The 24-year-old from Lake Forest was driving alone when the crash occurred.
The California Highway Patrol has identified the driver who died in a as 24-year-old Evert Walker of Lake Forest.
At about 2 a.m., Walker was driving northbound alone in a pick-up truck near the 5 freeway and 73 toll-road ramp, according to City News Service.
According to the Orange County Register, Walker was on the 73 toll road when he veered to the left, smashed into a guardrail and collided with a raised concrete pole base.

The Orange County Coroner's office reports that Walker succumbed to burns he sustained in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains unknown and witnesses are asked to call the CHP at (949) 487-4000.
