Man Sues Two CHP Officers, Alleging They Left Him Stranded

A Lake Forest man who is paralyzed from the waist down said California Highway Patrol officers abandoned him on the side of the road after they had his vehicle towed.

Jamal Aldaoudi, a 23-year-old from Lake Forest, is suing two California Highway Patrol officers who he said stranded him on the side of a freeway exit after towing his car Friday night.

Aldaoudi, who is paralyzed from the waist down, said police refused to give him a ride after he was pulled over and his car towed when officers found he was driving with a suspended license.
