More Reckless Youth Reports, and Other Cop Calls
A selection of calls from Lake Forest to the county Sheriff's Department from Aug. 30-Sept. 2.
The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. The true nature of an incident often differs from what is initially reported. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.
It's been a quiet week in Lake Forest, at least as reflected in the Sheriff's Department crime blotter.
But, , community members are still noting local youths acting recklessly and letting police know about it without a qualm.

Shortly before noon Tuesday, a resident from the 0 block of Avignon Avenue asked sheriff's deputies to check the area for someone in a white Ford truck that was full of kids—some riding in the bed—driving at a high rate of speed, tires squealing.
The caller feared for the safety of the youngsters if the truck ended up flipping over due to its speed.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 12:10 a.m. Friday. 26400 block of Towne Centre Drive.
Disturbance—music or party. 11:16 p.m. Thursday. Corozal and Blanco. Deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 20-year-old man and took him into custody at Central Men’s Jail on $20,000 bail.
Vandalism report. 5:04 p.m. Thursday. 25700 block of Le Parc.
Stolen vehicle. 9:07 a.m. Thursday. 26100 block of Serrano Court.
Disturbance—mechanical. 11:14 p.m. Wednesday. 19200 block of Red Bluff Drive.
Disturbance. 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. 25800 block of Trabuco Road.
Traffic stop. 1:44 a.m. Wednesday. 21500 block of Midcrest Drive. A 41-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and taken into custody at Orange County Jail, where he was cited and released.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 7:43 p.m. Tuesday. 24800 block of Lakefield Street.
