Motorcycle Crash Closes Trabuco Road

A motorcyclist was severely injured in a Saturday morning collision with a truck.

Trabuco Road is reopened following a crash that severely injured a motorcyclist Saturday morning.

The accident occurred at 11:55 a.m. on the northbound side of Trabuco Road near Red River Drive.

“The motorcycle was on Trabuco at Red River, and a truck made a turn in front of it,” said Orange County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Steve Gil. “The motorcycle collided into the driver’s side door of the truck.”

The truck driver was not injured, but the motorcyclist had to be rushed to the hospital with a severe but non-life-threatening leg injury, said Gil.

The northbound side of Trabuco Road was temporarily closed while police investigated and cleared the scene.
