Multi-Vehicle Crash Closes 5 South Lane
A 30-minute SigAlert is issued for the far left lane on the southbound freeway by Lake Forest.
A SigAlert was issued at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday for the far left lane on the 5 South at El Toro Road after a hit-and-run collision involving multiple vehicles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP reports show that at least three cars were involved in the injury crash, which blocked the fast lane.
Police recommend that drivers use alternate routes for about 30 minutes until the crash debris is cleared.
