Pediatric Patients Shop With Cops

The program paired children from the aMAYZing Kids Clinic with police officers for a pre-holiday shopping spree.

The holidays arrived early this year for a handful of children from a in Lake Forest.

Each were were invited to go on a $100 shopping spree at Target in Foothill Ranch through the retailer's Shop With a Cop program.

The —founded by a —partnered with the Lake Forest Police Services Department for the shopping extravaganza.

Children rushed to the toy aisle, picking out Christmas gifts for themselves and family members.

Store officials at the Foothill Ranch branch of Target said this is the first year the store has participating in the Shop With a Cop program. They reached out to the police department, which asked if aMAYZing Kids would be interested in participating.

Ten children from the clinic got the chance to spend $100 at the store, with help from deputies who pushed the shopping cart and helped the children select gifts.
