You mean "tie" a noose? Charles, someone has just lost their life. Someone has just lost a daughter, friend, cousin, neighbor. The news article appropriately says that the man was arrested "under suspicion" of committing the crime. No one is tying a noose. We are however, noting the premature death of a human being. Your advice to "not talk to the police" is not only inappropriate but crass and shows a serious lack of humanity. Your deflection is not sufficient to draw away from your original comment.

Why all the legal empathy for the suspect? A girl is dead.

But he was such a good kid, and never hurt a fly before. In typical coward fashion, I'm sure he'll plead "not guilty," by reason of being a jerk, or some other stupid defense. Maybe he'll claim she was attacking him, and he defended himself by stabbing her 50 times. After all, it's not like she'll be around to contest such a story. Go ahead and tie a noose. Is there really any doubt that he did it? The coward fled to Arizona to hide with his daddy. I'll be honest, I saw the guy's picture, and he looks like he's probably an arrogant jerk. Let him be one in prison for the next 30 years.
