Lake Forest Man, 62, Reported Missing

Robert Jerry Attias has not been heard from since Oct. 16. His family is concerned for his well-being.

A Lake Forest man in need of medical attention has not been heard from since Oct. 16, authorities said Monday.

Robert Jerry Attias, 62, was reported missing by his family Oct. 20 after three days without hearing from him. His family last heard from him Oct. 16 when his sister spoke with him via telephone at about 10:30 p.m.

She told police Attias was feeling "despondent" as a result of recent issues with a longterm girlfriend. He needs medical attention, authorities said.

According to his website, Attias is a comedian and musician who goes by the moniker "The Rock 'n' Roll Kid." He is also a sculptor, according to the site.

The disappearance is "extremely out of character" for the 62-year-old, his family told police. He has never done anything similar before, they said.

Police are having difficulty tracking Attias because there has been no activity on his cellphone or bank account, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Attias drives a gray 2012 four-door Honda Accord, license plate 6UGF043.

He is white, 5-foot-10, 190 pounds, has short gray hair and is balding on top. He has brown eyes and wears glasses.

Anyone who has seen Attias or his vehicle is asked to call the Orange County Sheriff's Department at 714-647-4578 or 714-628-7170.
