Have You Seen This Person of Interest in Laguna Hills Death?

Orange County Sheriff's Dept., seeks the public's help in finding Henry Godinez, who they fear is headed to Nicaragua. He was the decedent's roommate.

Detectives are asking for the public's help finding a Nicaraguan who lived and worked with a man found apparently murdered Wednesday evening in Laguna Hills.

Around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Laguna Hills patrol deputies responded to a welfare check call on the 25200 block of Stockport. Deputies entered the home and found a man dead inside the residence. Based on preliminary information, this case is being investigated as a homicide, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

The person of interest is Henry Nunez Godinez, 22, described as a slender Hispanic with black hair and brown eyes (see photo). Investigators believe he may be traveling back to Nicaragua by way of Mexico.

Godinez was last seen Saturday. He may be driving a 2005 black Volkswagen Jetta, license plate 6KJM618.

The identity of the man who died has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
